__________________________________________________________________________________________
January 19th & 20th - Kick'N Indoor - This was the First tournament as a new team for Fatal Effect. We were suspicious about how the paint was going to do since we have heard and experienced bad paint in the past. Saturday everyone was on top of there game and we ended up going undefeated in the prelims. Paint for us on Saturday was ok not the best, shot good in some guns and not so good in others. Sunday though was a whole different story. Kick'N said that they ran out of paint on Saturday and had to get more for Sunday, we thought nothing of the paint because it was shooting okay the day before. Having a team with almost all ego's, this team should of been able to shoot anything that anyone gave to us. This was not the case and everyone on the team was having trouble just getting paint out of there barrel. Not to mention that we were shooting 260 fsp the whole tourney, I myself would have loved to try and see someone shoot 300 fps out of there barrel because there would have been no way anyone would of been able to accomplish that. After a long hard 2 days we ended up with a 4th place finish, none of us were happy because of how we played the day before. For the most part excluding Sunday we had a good time and met a lot of good teams that I'm sure we will meet up with again in the future.
March 13th-16th - PSP Phoenix Open - This was the first National Tournament for most of the people on the Fatal Effect roster, excluding a couple that previously played PSP. We showed up on the Friday ready to view the field and to see how it would play out for us the next day. The field layout being one that we have never seen before with the fingers in the back and people trying to play them as a normal bunker only to get shot out in the pack or the other side. Our games didn't start till about 1:00 Saturday afternoon, us being excited and ready to go we got some extra sleep and watched a few games before we played. We had a rough time I'm not going to lie, with people getting shot and not maintaining there job we couldn't hold it down. Kevin Scruggs an active member of Fatal Effect trying to do his best coaching us with the constant noise of the crowd that u really couldn't hear anything on the field no matter how loud he was. We applaud and thank Kevin for doing his best trying to relay stuff to us on the field! We ended up winning about half of our games and did our best with what we had to give. Driving to Phoenix and having the time we had was all worth it, I can truly tell you that the Chemistry with the team is awesome and like no other. The next event in South Carolina will be a huge difference. Changing up the roster and making the changes as we did, everyone will notice the change!
